The North Grove is seeking a visionary Executive Director (ED) to lead their organization in strengthening and advancing a supportive, empowering community space. Yet, it is also a community with a remarkable drive to connect and give. The North Grove is a vibrant community hub in Dartmouth North, where food, family, and friendship come together. Through their innovative family and community food programs, they provide services and spaces that support learning, growth, and connection. Your Role:

As Executive Director, you will inspire and empower the team to deliver impactful programs that enhance the well-being of our community. Your leadership will be essential in implementing the strategic plan set forth by the Board, ensuring the initiatives resonate with the needs of those that are served. You'll also:


Lead and nurture a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Oversee all aspects of staff management, from recruitment to professional development, ensuring that everyone at The North Grove thrives in their role.

Cultivate meaningful partnerships with government, donors, community groups, and other collaborators’ to amplify our reach and impact.

Drive the creation of an annual business plan and budget, ensuring their financial and operational goals are aligned with their mission.

Develop and track key performance metrics to measure the success of our programs and overall organization, ensuring they deliver on both financial and non-financial goals.

Who You Are:

You’re an inspiring leader with a knack for building strong relationships and guiding teams towards success. You have:


Proven experience in a leadership role, with expertise in managing people, projects, and partnerships.

A deep commitment to community development, food security, and family support programs.

Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, fundraising, and non-profit management.

A passion for collaboration, with the ability to work across sectors to amplify the impact of our work.
