Our client, a well-established leader in Canada’s industrial supply sector is seeking a visionary President to guide its next phase of growth. With decades of excellence in providing top-tier heavy worksite equipment, the company is known for its customer-centric approach and strong reputation across Canada.
Reporting to the executive committee, the President will provide strategic leadership, oversee operations, and lead the organization's engagement and relationships with key stakeholders. In this role, the President will develop and execute a forward-thinking plan aimed at driving further growth, expanding market presence, refining operations, and leading transformative digital initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of a strategic vision, leadership excellence, and operational expertise within the industrial manufacturing sector. A forward-thinking mindset coupled with strong communication and leadership skills is essential. Moreover, the successful candidate will inspire trust, exude confidence, and must be able to thrive in a collaborative setting. A proven track record of effective problem-solving, setting out a plan and delivering results, and leveraging digital and technological innovations will round out the candidate’s profile.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is expected to have:
- Significant experience leading an organization or a large P&L. An MBA or an advanced degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
- Expertise in operational efficiency, corporate finance, procurement, and contract bidding.
- Proven leadership in digital transformation and business development.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A visionary, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on driving results.
- A proven ability to enhance productivity across business units and navigate complex organizational transformations.
- Experience managing change within a multifaceted environment.
