We are seeking a Casual Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP) at Penticton Regional Hospital. Days of work are rotating; 8:00 to 16:00.
This is a casual position. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and that days of work and shift times may vary. Many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.

What will you work on?
Join a dynamic and dedicated team of caring professionals as an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication/swallowing as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with these people for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing for adults requiring this care. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.
We are looking for an S-LP with experience/preference that will include outpatient and acute care services. The S-LP will have excellent oral and written communication abilities & be able to connect with people from all types of backgrounds. The S-LP will be creative in supporting clients’ goals while adhering to program guidelines and will be an active and engaged team member, able to respectfully communicate and resolve conflict in a timely manner.
