What You'll Bring:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in IT technical lead roles in global organizations.
- Strong background in development, quality assurance, management, and control processes.
- Expert application knowledge in the financial sector is a must-have.
- Experience in leveraging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of aligning IT strategies with business objectives.
- Technical expertise in development and QA of full technology stack, especially back-end.
- Understanding of Cloud and Data technologies is a definite asset.
- Strong people leadership in a technical capacity.
- Highly analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work during off regular office hours for global collaboration and production support.
Impact You'll Make:
This role leads the technology work for product and platform solutions using agile/scrum or traditional/hybrid SDLC methodology. It involves providing direction for development and QA teams to ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards, aiming for 99.99% uptime.
Work closely with product managers and owners to understand requirements and deliver efficient solutions. Success requires strong technical expertise, ability to align with architecture & design, and develop quality solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical leadership to scrum and project teams.
- Liaise with stakeholders to address technical debt efficiently.
- Provide high level estimates on delivery work effort.
- Ensure adherence to coding and testing standards by the development team.
- Guide QA team on automation, testing, control, and reporting processes.
- Act as an escalation point for teams on functional, technical, quality, and timeline challenges.
- Manage the technical aspect of releases end to end.
- Ensure test and production environments are aligned and ready for critical releases.
- Engage in daily huddles and regular leadership meetings.
- Establish production support cadence and rectify issues.
- Consider risk appetite and culture in day-to-day activities.
- Research and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools.
- Ensure agile best practices are applied to technical development and QA work.
This is a hybrid position requiring in-person work at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
