The Opportunity

  • Support and coordinate HR functions, including recruitment and retention, benefits coordination, labour relations, occupational health, and training and development.
  • Collaborate with employees, managers, retirees, and the HR Team to ensure effective delivery of HR services.
  • Draft correspondence, develop forms and templates.
  • Track and process invoices, and maintain the HR budget.
  • Manage HR files and update organizational information and reports.
  • Support employee onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration with a minimum of 3 years of related experience (or a combination of equivalent experience and education).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, content management systems, and electronic signing software (i.e. DocuSign).
  • Comfort with using web-based applications and tools.
  • Highly motivated team player with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.
  • Passion for the HR field and a strong work ethic.
