The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is currently seeking a Business Analysis – Strategic Planning & Projects co-op student/intern for the Summer and/or Fall 2025 work term (May to August or December) to provide support in refining business processes and auditing digital assets for correct meta description.

BCI manages a globally diversified portfolio of assets valued at $250.4 billion and is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors. We invest globally to support pension and other funds for more than 30 clients based in British Columbia.

Who You Will Work With

  • The Corporate & Investor Relations (CIR) department is the corporate face and voice to BCI’s internal and external audiences.
  • CIR develops and implements communication strategies for client, internal and external audiences.
  • BCI relies on CIR to be accountable for supporting stakeholder satisfaction and client retention, influencing clients’ investment policy decisions, and managing BCI’s brand and reputation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Work under the supervision of the Strategic Planning & Projects Associate supporting process improvements and tool enhancements.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze Metadata, digital assets, analytics; identify improvements and develop strategies for implementation.
  • Leading and assisting in the documentation and analysis of business processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Supporting change management initiatives.
  • Completing project work and ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the team.
