Job Description:

We are seeking an Azure Administrator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Cloud Services Team Lead, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and monitoring Azure resources using Terraform within our Azure production and development environments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure while working closely with cross-functional teams to support the deployment and management of client-facing solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure resources (including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Application Gateways, App Services, Database Servers) using Terraform, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness, implementing scaling and optimization strategies as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, working closely with support teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards in Azure environments, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.
  • Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures, and share knowledge with team members to promote learning and collaboration.
  • Stay up to date with Azure services and features, as well as emerging technologies and best practices in cloud infrastructure management.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Azure Administrator or in a similar role is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) automation.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and project tracking software (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, build and release management.
