We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Project Manager to join our team at Wolseley, a leading plumbing wholesale distributor. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the execution of various projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and overall project success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing products, wholesale distribution processes, and project management methodologies.

What you will do:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors to source materials and equipment needed for each project.
  • Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and terms with vendors to optimize cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure that all purchased materials meet the quality and specification standards.
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of tasks.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between various departments such as logistics, sales, inventory, and customer service.
  • Hold regular meetings to update stakeholders on project status and resolve any issues or roadblocks.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-control measures are in place and adhered to.
  • Monitor the quality of plumbing products and services provided, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Address any issues related to product defects, delays, or project scope changes, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all project phases.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project status, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain thorough records of project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, progress reports, and communications.
  • Prepare and submit project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and achievements.

What you will bring:

  • Experience: 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within the plumbing, construction, or wholesale distribution industries.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of plumbing products, systems, and materials.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects and budgets.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations (a plus).

Salary Range: $84,000 - $90,000
