Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and organized individuals to fill the crucial role of Warehouse Worker in our dynamic team. As a Warehouse Worker at Apex Fabrication and Supply, you will play a vital role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include meticulously accounting for products entering and leaving the warehouse and ensuring they are stored in designated areas. Additionally, you will be responsible for fulfilling orders accurately and efficiently. This position is a unionized position under Local 853.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Unloading pipe trucks, organizing the pipe yard and working outside.
• Providing the material, pipe to manufacturing and staging at appropriate place.
• Cycle counts and inventory management
• Performing ERP transaction using RF scanners and computer systems.

• Putting stock away
• Checking packing slips to ensure accuracy
• Organizing stock area to make it easily accessible

• Picking orders
• Picks material for orders, prioritizing based on delivery requirements
• Ensures orders are picked accurately

• Filling back orders
• Tracking all backorders
• Matching the order to what was received
• Removing back orders from the screen when filled

• Double-checking orders
• Confirm back orders were added to the back-order screen.
• Material is pulled correctly

• Packing Orders
• Label with job name and colour code
• Packaging fragile items
• Skids packed to be ready to stack
• Delivery schedule updated when packing complete

• Unloading transport truck
• Sign for skids being delivered
• Take packing slip of skids
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
• G license with clean abstract is required.
• Organization
• Must be able to work independently
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Must have Forklift experience
• A DZ or AZ driver’s license is an asset.
• Fit for lifting 50lbs
• Knowledge of imperial measurement
• Available to work morning and afternoon shift Monday to Friday
