Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Comptroller at Kwanlin Dün First Nation in Whitehorse, YT. The Finance Comptroller will be responsible for managing a team of staff, financial statements, utilizing analytical skills, overseeing financial reporting, audit coordination and ensuring accurate accounting practices on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Accounting skills
- Analytical Skills and Finance expertise
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA designation an asset
