Temporary Administrative Assistant 2 - Strategy and Performance Management

Reporting to the Director, Strategy & Performance, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, business, and clerical support to the Strategy & Performance team at TBRHSC and project teams across the region. This includes providing organization, operations, and business support for the leadership team and staff within the department. The position requires daily communication both internally and externally.
In a fast-paced environment, where new situations arise daily requiring quick decisions and immediate action, the Administrative Assistant is expected to stretch their administrative capabilities beyond the job description to tackle the unexpected. The complexities of the department require the individual to continuously look for new ways to lend support or make improvements to existing processes to benefit the department's success. Contributing ideas that build and nurture a thriving workplace is expected.
Employment Requirements
Education/Experience
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in business or office administration
- Minimum 3-5 years administrative experience in a large-scale environment, preferably in the healthcare industry
Skills/Abilities
- Strong sense of professionalism and commitment
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced interpersonal skills with diverse backgrounds
- Proficiencies in a wide range of business productivity software
Salary Range: $30.516 to $35.902
