INSPECTOR LEVEL C (hourly rate of pay $46.73)

We have an opportunity for you to join our production team as an Inspector Level C at our Cambridge, Ontario facility. Primary Function:

To perform all tasks of an Inspector Level C and to conduct non-destructive examinations.


Tasks:

•Perform NDE in all areas of the Shop.

•Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.

•Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation.

•Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.

•Communicate effectively with internal team members (i.e. peers, production leadership, project management, engineering) as well as customer representatives.

•Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental guidelines/regulations.

•Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.


Qualifications:

•Proven commitment to workplace safety.

•Must possess MT Level 2 AND PT Level 2 PLUS 2 of the following:

oCEDO

oUT CGSB-1

oRT CGSB-1

o2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector with BWXT

o5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT

oCertified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2)

•Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power-related industry.

•Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations.

•Proficiency with computer software.

•Available to work all shifts:

oWeekday days: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR

oWeekday afternoons: 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR

o Weekend days: 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours) OR

o Weekend afternoons: 5:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours)
