Reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing & Communications, this is a perfect opportunity for someone with a knack for video creation to take their skills to the next level. Whether you've been crafting videos as a hobby or dabbling in freelance projects, we're looking for someone ready to elevate their craft and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content: Capture and edit video projects highlighting Century Group's portfolio, including construction progress, hospitality features, and community stories.
  • Collaborate creatively: Work with our marketing team to brainstorm ideas, develop storyboards, and bring concepts to life.
  • Edit like a pro: Use editing software to produce polished, professional-grade videos with narration, infographics, and animation.
  • Craft diverse styles: Deliver a mix of short-form social content and longer, story-telling driven projects for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and our websites.
  • Capture on-site moments: Travel to sites across the Lower Mainland to document events, project milestones, and key highlights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A passion for video creation with a portfolio or examples of your work (essential).
  • Experience in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong understanding of story-telling, composition, and video production basics (lighting, sound, etc.).
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Photography or graphic design skills (an asset but not required).
  • Driver's License Class 5 (required for site travel).

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who's been creating videos on the side—whether for fun, social media, or personal projects—and is ready to take their talent to the next level. We're looking for someone with a great attitude, creative vision, and a willingness to grow with our team.

Why This Role?

  • Growth Opportunity: Improve your skills and gain experience working on creative projects.
  • Creativity: Help shape how we tell our stories and represent Century Group across diverse platforms.
  • Collaborative Team: Work with a supportive group of marketing pros who value your ideas.

If this sounds like you, please submit your resume, sample videos, and a quick note explaining why you are excited about this opportunity. We can't wait to see your creativity in action!
