Fredericton Hyundai is seeking a Service Team Lead to act as the primary contact between customer-facing advisors and automotive technicians. In this role, you will ensure that work orders and customer requests are processed efficiently and on time. Key responsibilities include allocating jobs to technicians, assessing vehicle issues, prioritizing and managing shop workflow, providing cost estimates, and coordinating service appointments. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and communication skills, strong automotive knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Superior organizational skills and the ability to multitask are essential.

- Monitor and prioritize service requests, adapting to changing priorities and emergencies as they arise.
- Develop a basic understanding of the technical aspects to effectively communicate with both service advisors and service technicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
- Assist in warranty related paperwork, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and submission.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications
- Ability to wear many different hats and a strong aptitude for working with people across multiple departments
- At least three years of customer service experience, previous experience in an Automotive role is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills: a good listener who can cultivate relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-driven environment
- Good organization and learning skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driver's abstract
