Clearco’s unique Invoice Funding product allows companies to secure funding for invoices and receipts for inventory, marketing expenses, shipping, and logistics. Clearco offers capped weekly payments and does not require collateral or personal guarantees from its customers. Founded in 2015, Clearco has funded over 10,000 businesses with $2.5BN invested.
We are growing Clearco to help customers win for the long term. A key element of Clearco’s go-forward strategy is our B2B sales approach. The VP of Sales, reporting to the CRO, will help manage the strategy to drive revenue while maintaining unit economics, top-line and bottom-line goals, and overall departmental performance.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive strategic growth and increase sales of financial products.
- Manage two net new revenue sales teams, and a BDR function.
- Build a highly performance-driven sales culture that emphasizes individual accountability and responsibility.
- Optimize Clearco’s sales funnel by driving efficient top-of-funnel activity and maximizing lead-to-close conversion.
- Be responsible for the unit economics and maintaining costs.
- Partner with marketing to develop Clearco’s competitive differentiation and go-to-market strategy.
- In support of the CRO and your department, implement predictable, repeatable, and scalable processes.
- Own accountability for the measurement and oversight of critical metrics that will determine the success of our sales and marketing teams.
- Take responsibility for the forecasting and reporting of your revenue teams on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Use technology and data analytics to inform targeted buyer engagement strategies.
- Attract, hire, and retain top talent.
- Lead and grow a developing team of sales professionals with a strong ability to drive engagement.
You will thrive if you:
- Have 10+ years of successful experience in hitting revenue and growth targets, partnerships, and strategic growth, preferably in the financial products industry.
- Have experience leading a sales team and developing team members.
- Have experience working within an operating model and with key stakeholders with a strong focus on direct-to-business sales and selling capital products.
- Have experience in SMB and Mid-Market sales cycles.
- Have a strong analytical focus when working with data and metrics related to sales.
- Are a player-coach – no job is too small, you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, work with the team, and get in the weeds.
