About the role:

The Project Manager will provide project management expertise and oversight to teams of technical and business operations professionals in the installation, integration, wrap up and invoicing of customers, and potentially internal Charter, network and communications technology and other Charter solutions. Project Managers work closely with the Sales, Pre-sales, Support & Managed Services, as well as Advisory and Consulting teams in exceeding customer expectations. The Project Manager is the one ultimately responsible for the final quality and invoicing of a project, thus ensuring it's delivered on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of IT focused projects that range in both size and complexity
  • Focused on delivery technology solutions in a team environment using conventional and Agile project-based approaches
  • Handle a significant number of concurrent running projects, leveraging our internal Agile team, and other internal and external, resources and working within those frameworks to deliver each project successfully
  • Leverage pre-defined templates and standard operating procedures to allow for efficient delivery
  • Suggest and lead changes to operating procedures to improve productivity and internal and customer stakeholders
  • Strive for efficient and high velocity project delivery, using all tools and techniques available to deliver quickly and with high quality
  • Oversee the complete project management lifecycle including planning and defining scope, resource planning, budgeting and reporting, client communication, managing risks and issues, etc
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or intent to pursue it is an asset
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver multiple, concurrent projects
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships
  • Excellent organization and highly detail-oriented individual
  • Strong interpersonal communications (In-person, Phone, Email, collaboration tools such WebEx)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word), project and time reporting/scheduling tools
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
