The Trust Experience Platform team is a completely new squad at Remitly focused on building full stack building blocks that power our compliance, fraud, and authentication systems. This is an opportunity to work across both front-end and back-end systems, contributing to the development of critical features that power customer trust and safety. We are looking for founding engineers to help set the culture and vision of the team. You Will
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is $$88,000 - $99,000. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan. You Will
- Help set the culture for a new team
- Design, code, and test fundamental primitives for building the future of our Trust & Identity systems
- Identify and fix issues or bugs.
- Work with the team to quickly resolve problems and maintain system stability.
- Create work back plans and deliver software projects
- Actively participate in team meetings, discussing progress, challenges, and potential solutions with other team members and stakeholders.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest backend technologies, tools, and best practices, refining skills.
- Receive guidance and mentorship from more senior engineers.
- A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Expertise in one or more general-purpose languages like Java, JavaScript, Go, PHP, Python, Kotlin, C#, or Ruby
- Experience following technical best practices across a team
- 1+ years of experience shipping high-quality products
