Job Description CEDA is currently seeking Labourers for our Sudbury, ON location! If you're looking for a company that will give you the opportunity to learn and gain experience on pieces of equipment like vacuum trucks and high pressure water jetting units, apply today!
What We Offer:

- Monday - Sunday local staged opportunity at various mining operations plus adhoc work within Ontario as needed.
- Shift work will be required, typical shifts will be 7-7 AM or PM

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
- Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity
- Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment - our experienced crew has your back
- Ensure safety for all team members and property
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
- Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
- Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents
- Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
- Other duties as assigned
Role Specifications
- Valid Class G driver's license with no more than 5 demerits in the last two years
- 1+ years experience in an industrial environment is an asset but not required
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Ability to travel throughout Ontario (flexibility in scheduling is required)
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Experience and comfort with confined spaces
- Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
- Comfortable with the use of additional respiratory equipment and air supply; wearing a full face mask and carrying your own source of oxygen
- You're happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely
