Your work environment at EXP

EXP is looking for a Building Condition Assessor candidate to join our engineering team in the Brampton office. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the successful applicant will be fully trained to provide appropriate technical services to Project Managers for those projects to which they will be assigned.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Performing Building Condition Assessments, Reserve Fund Studies and Capital Planning Services.
  • Preparation of condition reports related to the Building Components, Exterior Walls, Roofing and other building elements.
  • Review and prepare reports and repair/replacement cost estimates.

What your experience looks like

  • College diploma, or University graduate in a related program
  • Exposure to building components, including roofs, exterior walls, windows, and doorways and structural building components will be an asset.
  • Experience working for an Ontario-based consulting engineering firm is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills - written and oral.
  • A valid driver’s licence with own vehicle and travel throughout Southern Ontario is required.
  • Experience dealing with various clients and fostering a positive relationship.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
