Our expectations :

Under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for the daily operational activities of the Accounts Payable team, including reviewing, processing requests, and ensuring timely payments to supplier

Your role :

• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex accounts payable issues, ensuring compliance with supplier payment agreements.
• Collaborate with other departments, divisions, and external suppliers to resolve issues, effectively handle customer complaints, and ensure efficient processing.
  
  

Daily tasks include:

• Closely monitor the aging of accounts payable to ensure aged payables are resolved.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate reports as needed.
• Prepare journal entries related to supplier accounts, as necessary.
• Manage payments and expenses.
• Upload special entries in Oracle.
• Reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts.
• Provide training on Oracle Cloud.
• Write training procedures.
• Upload and reconcile rents ($20M/month).
• Manage supplier escalations.
• Monitor the overall requests sent to the AP Team to ensure appropriate processing times and resolution of issues.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain documented A/P best practices, identifying inefficiencies/risk and recommending changes to reporting manager.
• Generate financial reports, as required
• Support the finance team to ensure a smooth year end Audit.
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries if needed relating to vendor accounts.
• On-board and train new team members
