As a Materials Management Advisor, you will work with the business units to help support the day-to-day activities within our Syncrude Warehouse.
Minimum Requirements:

As a Materials Management Advisor, you will work with the business units to help support the day-to-day activities within our Syncrude Warehouse.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of two years experience in a warehouse setting
- Warehouse journeyman or parts journeyman ticket is an asset
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Knowledge of material, equipment and warehousing day-to-day activities, as well as the safety regulation related to material handling
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as a forklift
- A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Knowledge of SAP applications to accurately process inventory transactions and access information
- The ability to understand complex processes, and strive to develop and implement continuous improvement and creative process enhancements
- Deliver chemicals totes and various materials to designated areas onsite
- Complete inventory cycle counts in all areas of the warehouses
- Ensure the accurate and valid receipt of physically received materials during delivery
- Manage the process of integrating the materials receipt into the inventory management system
- Label all materials before entering into the system and respective storage locations
- Visually inspect all materials and direct to quality assurance testing when required
- Pick and stage material accurately for authorization for expenditure and maintenance jobs
- Act as the frontline contact between the warehouse and other business units
- Load and offload material
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained in operating areas
- You will work out of our Syncrude Mildred Lake location in Fort McMurray, Alberta
- The shift schedule is Monday to Friday
- This position is safety sensitive
- If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory
