About The Role

Hybrid or Remote | Full-time

The Product Owner is responsible for overseeing the Geotic Product Line, defining the software development roadmap and strategy, and engaging in customer support and interaction. This role ensures alignment between customer experience and product development, driving innovation to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product ownership of Geotic Product Line:
  • Develop and articulate detailed product requirements and roadmaps, aligning with business objects and customer needs;
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog, collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of features;
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and identify opportunities for product innovation and enhancement;
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape;
  • Monitor and report on product performance, making recommendations for improvements;
  • Provide exceptional customer support and engagement for the Geotic Suite of Software:
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and insights;
  • Act as a liaison between the customers and the product team, advocating for customer needs;
  • Develop and maintain customer engagement strategies to enhance user satisfaction;
  • Participate in strategic planning and product roadmap development;
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in customer support and product management;
  • Conduct regular presentations to stakeholders on product and customer engagement progress;
  • Ensure a smooth integration of product management practices within the customer support framework;
  • Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality;
  • Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You

  • Proven track record in customer support or engagement, focusing on enhancing user satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles, with demonstrated experience managing a product line.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities within fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, with experience contributing to iterative product development processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in core logging and logging software, with a preference for familiarity with the Geotic Suite of Software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred;

Physical Demands

  • Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks such as keyboarding.
  • Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.

Our Benefits Include

  • A base salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
