What does your day-to-day look like?
- Follow the company’s software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document systems and applications.
- Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
- Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents, and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with other development team members to ensure quality and consistency.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design, and code reviews.
- Develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in the specified software application.
- 5–7+ years of experience developing backend RESTful applications using Java and the Spring framework.
- Hands-on experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot 2+, Spring Security, Spring Data, and JPA.
- 6+ years of experience working with SQL databases, data modeling, and optimization.
- Proven ability to write secure, clean, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns.
- Experience writing unit and integration test cases.
- Must be hands-on, with recent experience in continuous development with Java.
- Strong and consistent hands-on experience with Java and Spring framework.
- Day-to-day tasks involve 80% coding, designing, and participating in scrum meetings (no leadership roles).
