On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Research and Insights Advisor for a 9-month engagement.


Research and Insights Advisor Job Details

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Research and Insights, the Research and Insights Advisor is available to provide market research support to Experience, Communications, Marketing and Insights department as required. The successful candidate is confident working independently, is highly organized, a strategic thinker, confident C-Suite presenter, analytical, with specialty research experience in campaign evaluation and creative testing.

The role requires a confident communicator able to leverage their diverse research professional experience (spanning qualitative and quantitative market research), to provide a wide range of research, analysis, and decision support services to the Research and Insights Senior Manager. The successful candidate will bring business acumen, well-honed analytical skills, a strong ability to uncover and communicate insights that address a variety of business questions and provide actionable recommendations is a must. The role will involve research for all channels of business.


Responsibilities

• Manages their own process: shadowing the Research and Insights Senior Manager to provide consultative support and execution in support of qualitative and quantitative research;
• Responsible for research design, analysis and reporting independently or in collaboration with the Research and Insights Senior Manager;
• Adept preparing PowerPoint reports and presentations for C-Suite, including analysis and charting of data and developing visual representations of insights to construct compelling narratives, and providing recommendations on complex topics;
• Responsible for the establishment of a Marketing outreach evaluation and creative testing strategy and execution plan;
• Conducts secondary research in support of the Research and Insights function, by independently sourcing and synthesizing relevant information and data to the specific topics of interest for foresighting work for senior executive distribution.
  
  
  

Research And Insights Advisor Mandatory Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or social sciences;
• A minimum of ten years’ of experience conducting market research; with experience of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies;
• A minimum of five years’ experience of communications (advertising) evaluation and creative testing including previous experience establishing or leading a corporate marketing outreach evaluation program, including pre and post campaign evaluation, creative testing, and integrated marketing efficiency analysis and recommendations;
• Minimum of five years of experience in the facilitation of meetings and brainstorms;
• Minimum of five years of experience moderating (interviews, focus groups, online discussions);
• Experience of corporate foresighting work preferred;
• Experience applying statistical techniques and working knowledge of statistics concepts;
• Highly numerate and analytically minded who strives for 100% accuracy all the time;
• Strong critical thinking, influencing, and relationship management skills honed at the C-Suite level;
• Proven ability to uncover and deliver insights, implications, and recommendations that drive business improvements in an easy-to-understand story-led approach;
• Demonstrates initiative, self-motivation, highly developed organizational skills and an ability to work with limited supervision;
• Must possess a strong ability to plan, prioritize, manage and communicate work on multiple projects that are running concurrently;
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word), Excel and PowerPoint (experienced charting from Excel data sets into PowerPoint).
