Warehouse Address: 550 Pendant Drive, Mississauga, ON

Shift Time: Afternoon - Full time

Wage: As per company Standards

Some of what you will do:

Receive, store, and move products around the warehouse using equipment. Perform work under the direction of warehouse supervisor or manager.

Specifically, you will:

  • Perform duties using equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.
  • Ensure accuracy of orders received and examine any discrepancies.
  • Use hand-held scanners to enter product information while ensuring accuracy.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of warehouse activities through teamwork with co-workers in warehouse, drivers and purchasing personnel.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.

Qualifications:

Some of what you need:

  • Minimum of three (3) months' related experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklift, cherry picker and pallet jack preferred.
  • Ability and interest to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment will be considered.

Additional Requirements Information:

Work requires moderate physical effort and the use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity to perform the essential duties of this job:

  • The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.
  • The employee will operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
