The Halfway House Attendant is responsible for providing efficient and friendly service as well as promoting and ensuring Member and Guest satisfaction. Your dedication to providing a high level of customer service is part of your personality. As a Halfway House Attendant, your outgoing and service-minded personality will be a big reason for your success as an on-course server.

Responsibilities

• Open and close halfway house, serving guests and members to the standards set by management.
• Stocking of food and beverages in the Halfway House, rotating stock to ensure product is used in the correct date order.
• Prepare food items to standards set by management, including cooking food on the barbeque.
• Ability to recognize proper food safety.
• Handle cash and charges for all items sold to members and guests.
• Provide resolution to any member or guest issues/complaints when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Direct Halfway House concerns to a supervisor or manager immediately.
• Responsible for personal shift accounting procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Smart Serve certified (required).
• Food safety and handling certified (recommended).
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and independently.
• A self-starter and team player.
• Previous food & beverage experience.
• Basic golf etiquette and knowledge.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
