The Role:
The Payment Processing Advisor handles all setups and training of the Payment Processing suite including Point of Sale terminals and Express Pay. As a Payment Processing Advisor, you will provide top quality knowledge and expertise to both our clients and internal teams in relation to both the Payment Processing terminals as well as the Express Pay feature.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and troubleshoot issues received by phone and email.
- Write up tickets and investigate issues involving POS and Express Pay.
- Be able to fulfill orders for POS and Express Pay as they come in, in a timely fashion.
- Assist on-site teams and dealerships with setting up of payment processing machines.
- Configuration of online payment systems.
- Facilitate a training session with dealership contacts – Show features of the products and guide the staff in how to operate.
- Work with internal staff to help investigate or find answers in troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation and update as processes change within Payment Processing.
- Be able to talk about and navigate our DMS Software to be able to better assist customers.
- Ongoing training of the software and different departments within the company.
Qualifications:
- Experience in payment processing, accounting, or technically related field is an asset
- High School diploma
- Solid computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent customer service skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong documentation abilities
- Effective time management, organizational, and self-management skills
- Strong multi-tasking & prioritization
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays and/or Sundays to support installations
- Ability to work occasional USA/Canadian holidays based on installation needs
