About the Role

As a Full Stack and API Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge web applications and APIs that empower scientists to manage and analyze large-scale multi-modal research data. You will collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team and leverage your expertise in React, Redux, API development, and SQL to create impactful solutions that accelerate research and discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art web applications using Java, React, React Hooks, and Redux.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features and functionalities.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
• Participate actively in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure the highest level of application performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in React development.

Qualifications:

• 8- 10 years of developer experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in API development
• Extensive hands-on, expert level experience with React and Redux (5+ years).
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket version control systems.
• Experience with unit testing and debugging tools.
• Experience with SQL, mySQL and databasing an asset
