Survey Assistant, Seasonal - Edmonton

Scheffer Andrew Ltd. is currently seeking a Survey Assistant to join our team for a seasonal position. Scheffer Andrew Ltd. is a medium sized civil engineering and planning consulting firm, which has operated in Western Canada, primarily Alberta, for almost 50 years. We currently have two offices in Alberta with more than 45 employees. Our work focuses on municipal, land development and transportation engineering.

Duties of this position will include, and are not limited to assisting with:

• Topographical surveys, subdivision construction layout, and other geomatic work.

• Carry equipment and supplies and install stakes.

• Assisting Survey Crew Chief as required.

The ideal candidate must be:

• A student returning to school in September.

• Reliable and have a good working ethic.

• Available to work overtime, early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

• Able to get to Scheffer Andrew’s office and/or a project site.
