As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you'll lead the development of intuitive and intelligent conversational assistants that transform user experiences. At CAMEL, we're passionate about creating innovative Conversational AI that pushes the boundaries of what's possible. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving the vision and strategy for our next-generation AI assistants. You'll be at the forefront of solving complex challenges in natural language processing and machine learning, while ensuring our solutions are user-centric and ethically responsible.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define and deliver critical program across multiple teams
  • Establish mechanism across internal and partner teams for the program
  • Influence technical decisions
  • Assess and mitigate risks, handle escalations, and provide concise and transparent updates to stakeholders at all levels
  • Dive deep to understand complex problems and break them down into small pieces with straightforward solutions
  • Mentor individuals in the community on advanced technical issues, and help them grow their careers

A day in the life

Your day might start with a stand-up meeting, where you'll sync with your team on project progress and address any blockers. You'll then dive into analyzing user feedback to refine our AI models, followed by a brainstorming session with researchers to explore innovative approaches to natural language understanding. In the afternoon, you might lead a cross-functional meeting to align on integration strategies for our latest AI features.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
