Business Consultant
Sqills
Sqills is looking for an experienced business consultant that translates complex problems into simple and sustainable solutions that drive business results.
What will you do as a business consultant at Sqills?
As a consultant at Sqills, you will guide our clients in modeling their business (processes) in our industry-leading Software as a Service (SaaS) product: S3 Passenger. With S3 Passenger, you will work with the most modern sales and reservation system on the market for transport operators. Do you believe you can help our clients to thrive their business by configuring state-of-the-art software to fulfill continuously evolving passenger needs? Then this role may be something for you!
Integrating S3 Passenger for a rail operator is a challenge. It concerns mission critical business processes that need to be modeled in a functionally rich and flexible SaaS product. Variations are endless, requiring deep analytical skills and good understanding of end-user experiences/business processes, functionality and context of our clients. In addition, there is a portion in the larger IT ecosystem of our clients that typically requires custom integration. Your expertise and experience matters to successfully integrate S3 Passenger in the IT landscape of our clients. As a business consultant, you are responsible for integrating existing systems with S3 Passenger, both upstream (B2C, B2B and B2E frontend channels) and downstream (e.g. F&A, CRM, RM, DWH).
Work location
Your office will be in Oakville, Ontario where you will spend valuable time discussing client challenges and solutions with your peers. For those days that require dedicated focus, there is plenty of flexibility to work from home, in a hybrid set-up. Fully remote work from North America is also an option; although not preferred.
In addition, we have a global client base, ranging from North America to a strong client base in Europe. With a global go-to-market strategy we are continuously growing and expanding our footprint to Asia Pacific and Middle East. And you will be a crucial element to be successful for our international growth plans, to drive implementations with interactive workshops, consulting and training clients onsite at their offices.
We are looking for someone with…
…a mature consultant (mindset) with hands-on experience helping clients by defining sustainable solutions for complex challenges. After a period of training, you are independent and able to “stand on your own two feet”. Your ability to take feedback constructively will allow you to continuously grow. You understand market and consumer trends in public transport and build a deep understanding of our clients’ business as well as our S3 Passenger SaaS product.
You can challenge the status quo and create solutions. Crucial to the role: you are driven, pro-active and ready to work comfortably in a smaller team that works on mission critical software.
