As the Senior Paid Social Media Specialist, you will be a vital part of our Growth & Lifecycle team within Marketing and Communications. You will own end-to-end paid social initiatives and work alongside talented teams to bring our brand to life across the digital landscape.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Digital Advertising.

As the Senior Paid Social Media Specialist, you will be a vital part of our Growth & Lifecycle team within Marketing and Communications. Your Moneris Career - What You'll Do
- Create Impactful Campaigns: Design, manage, and optimize paid social media campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X to achieve measurable business goals.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing and creative teams to align paid social strategies with broader marketing initiatives and craft compelling, on-brand ad creatives.
- Leverage Data for Success: Dive into audience insights to develop precise targeting strategies and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Push Boundaries: Stay ahead of trends by testing new platforms, ad formats, and creative approaches to keep Moneris at the forefront of digital innovation.
- Drive Results: Manage campaign budgets, forecast ROI, and execute A/B testing strategies to optimize performance and maximize conversions.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor emerging trends and best practices in social media advertising to ensure our strategies remain fresh and effective.
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Marketing.
- 3+ years of experience in paid social media.
- Experience with A/B testing, conversion tracking, retargeting, and optimizing for ROI.
- Strong understanding of social media editing, publishing and reporting tools and platforms.
- Expertise in paid social platforms and data-driven campaign management.
- A creative and analytical mindset, always seeking ways to innovate and improve.
- A passion for collaboration and aligning strategies with overarching marketing goals.
- Strong understanding of compelling ad copy, visuals, and video content that resonate with target audiences, aligns with brand standards, and performs well across the individual social media platforms.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal).
- Certifications in Meta Blueprint, TikTok Media Buying, LinkedIn Marketing Lab, or other relevant advertising platforms are a bonus.
- Bilingualism in French is considered an asset.
