The Business Improvement Specialist is the perfect role for a critical thinker and creative problem solver who is eager to drive projects to completion for real improvement. As a key member of the JDI Human Resources Operations Team, the Business Improvement Specialist will focus on ensuring that HR processes are continually improving to deliver value and exceed our employees’ and our businesses' expectations.
The Business Improvement Specialist will lead hands-on through delivering improvement projects, coach team members and lead organizational change related to HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and facilitating improvement projects and workshops
- Serving as an internal expert on continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Facilitating process mapping and assessment to design daily management approaches in collaboration with subject matter experts
- Collaborating with all JDI businesses to understand opportunities for improvement and implement using customer-centric solutions
- Coaching Human Resources professionals in the establishment of best practices for Process Management and Daily Management
Qualifications
- A Post-secondary degree
- Three to five years of professional experience in an operations, business, or continuous improvement environment
- Highly motivated with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills and proven experience influencing and leading change
- Experience facilitating groups in the development of processes
- Lean/Green Belt program certification is an asset
- Proven track record of delivering results and managing multiple assignments
- Experience with Project Management and Human Resources processes are considered an asset
