Position Overview

As the first point of contact with our Members, the Customer Service Representative is a critical part of the FBC team. They demonstrate a positive energy and consistently provides exceptional customer service to FBC Members.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in tax preparation or bookkeeping. A solid grasp of accounting principles and tax regulations will help you better support Members with tax-related inquiries and financial record-keeping, as well as collaborate effectively with other departments.

Please note that this position will report directly in person to our Winnipeg branch office.

Key Responsibilities

Our successful candidate will

  • Provide exemplary customer service to FBC Members
  • Collaborate with other team members/departments to manage and exceed Member expectations
  • Prepare, review and file confidential documents, reports and other correspondence materials


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of front-line customer service experience


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS And ABILITIES

  • Tax knowledge and/or bookkeeping skills would be considered an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with well-developed telephone skills
  • An aptitude for learning
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Superior time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately
  • A working knowledge of MS Office
