IMCO is looking for a highly motivated Human Resources Business Partner to join our team!
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for supporting the business strategy and executing on key initiatives along with providing HR and change management support to a designated portfolio. In addition, this role works in partnership with the Senior Manager to implement HR practices and provide consultative HR support to assist in achieving business objectives. With respect to HR Programing, this role is accountable to deliver programs that will build leadership and employee capability to meet the current and future needs of IMCO. These programs will focus on supporting the attraction and onboarding of talent; building a resource and succession pipeline; performance management and goal setting; and employee recognition and engagement.
As a Member of Our Team, You Will be Responsible For:
- Supporting the execution of talent strategies and related programs, policies, and services including resource planning, succession management, talent attraction and retention, onboarding, employee development, employee engagement and recognition, performance management, and learning and development.
- Understanding business goals and recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and the development of HR within the organization.
- Acting as a credible HR partner to People Leaders at IMCO, by supporting a comprehensive people strategy and HR agenda that will help deliver the business strategy, leveraging/building relationships at key levels in the organization.
- Providing sound leadership coaching.
- Facilitating, managing, and resolving complex employee issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations and mediations.
- Supporting leaders throughout the recruitment process by partnering with Talent Attraction, Total Rewards, and Finance. Guiding leaders in the development and maintenance of recruitment and staffing plans.
- Supporting leaders with the development of their employee engagement strategy. Including facilitating planning sessions and providing insights into survey results.
- Facilitating the performance management program and processes within designated client group.
- Developing and sustaining strong, collaborative partnerships with stakeholder groups; including people leaders, HR Centres of Excellence, Finance, and other partners.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in HR, Business Management or Organizational Development.
- 8 - 10 years related HR experience.
- Ability to leverage relationships within HR and throughout the organization to provide efficient and effective solutions.
- Experience in a variety of HR domains, capable of influencing and leading others with proven capability to manage complex deliverables while addressing urgent issues in a timely manner.
- Strong knowledge of Human Rights Legislation, Health & Safety, Employment Standards Policies/Guidelines.
- Strong communication skills including experience with facilitation and presenting to audiences at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively, in a team-based environment, with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of and commitment to continuous assessment and quality improvement.
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
