Shift:

Day shift : Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday to Thursday and 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday.

Experience:

One (1) year’s plant experience in the steel industry (an asset).

Contributing in this role is :

• Assist the other employees in their daily tasks:
• Manipulate material with overhead cranes, jib cranes or forklifts;
• Keep the working area clean;

• Clean steel pieces using production equipment;
• Safely load, solidify, balance and tie the loads in the truck;
• Apply masking on steel parts
• All related tasks.

40-hour compressed work week

What we are looking for

– Ability to operate an angle grinder or other hand tools

– Know how to operate an overhead crane and/or know how to perform rigging operations (an asset);

– One (1) year’s plant experience in the steel industry (an asset).

– Demonstrate cooperation, adaptation, autonomy, manual dexterity and initiative;

– Organizational skills;

– Knowledge of best practices for loading materials in compliance with occupational health and safety principles
