• Night shift available: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Contributing in this role is:

• Training and informing employees on safe working methods and promoting Health and Safety through prevention.
• Proposing and supporting the plant management in achieving company objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (Quality Manual, Work Instructions, and applicable forms), best practices, and applicable standards.
• Meeting production schedules and addressing issues related to production discrepancies (e.g., non-conformities).
• Planning future workforce needs.
• Training new employees.
• Planning and supervising employees’ work and ensuring the quality of finished products.
• Reporting any programming entry issues.
• Validating employee time daily in UKG (attendance system).
• Managing disciplinary files.
• Performing daily updates in IPS (ERP) to track project progress.
• Performing any other related tasks.

Compressed 40-hour work week

What we are looking for

• High school diploma (DES) or relevant experience in a steel-related factory setting and/or
• Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in welding/assembly
• Good knowledge of CNC machines (an asset).
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the steel industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Fluency in spoken and written French.
• Proficiency in spoken English (an asset).
• Leadership, organizational skills, and responsibility.
• Autonomy, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Teamwork, strong oral communication, and diplomacy.
