- Night shift available: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Contributing in this role is:
- Training and informing employees on safe working methods and promoting Health and Safety through prevention.
- Proposing and supporting the plant management in achieving company objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (Quality Manual, Work Instructions, and applicable forms), best practices, and applicable standards.
- Meeting production schedules and addressing issues related to production discrepancies (e.g., non-conformities).
- Planning future workforce needs.
- Training new employees.
- Planning and supervising employees’ work and ensuring the quality of finished products.
- Reporting any programming entry issues.
- Validating employee time daily in UKG (attendance system).
- Managing disciplinary files.
- Performing daily updates in IPS (ERP) to track project progress.
- Performing any other related tasks.

Compressed 40-hour work week

What we are looking for
- High school diploma (DES) or relevant experience in a steel-related factory setting and/or
- Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in welding/assembly
- Good knowledge of CNC machines (an asset).
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the steel industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Fluency in spoken and written French.
- Proficiency in spoken English (an asset).
- Leadership, organizational skills, and responsibility.
- Autonomy, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Teamwork, strong oral communication, and diplomacy.
