Your role @Chanel:
This is an individual contributor role, with significant hands-on D365 F&O experience required.
Reporting to the IT Manager, as a Business Solutions Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the software development lifecycle within the business solutions tower, and partner management for third party application support managed services.
You will have in depth, hands-on experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Point of Sale (POS) projects, and integration between multiple systems. You should have an excellent understanding key business processes in supply chain management, finance, retail, and sales.
What impact you can create at Chanel:
- Manage periodic releases and ongoing enhancements for the Chanel Canada’s application landscape within the Finance, Logistics and Retail Solutions space, which includes but is not limited to D365 and AX2012.
- Manage third party application support partner service delivery.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, with support from SMEs as required.
- Drive technical changes and small to intermediate projects that do not require a project manager throughout execution, in addition to supporting the successful delivery of larger projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Manage Agile and waterfall delivery teams and partners both onshore and offshore.
- Work with the solution teams to create best in class software development and testing, including preparing test plans and scripts, and supporting the execution of different test phases.
- Work collaboratively on highly complex technical challenges with support from internal and external Subject Matter Experts from business and IT.
- Work with Global, Regional and Local teams to ensure information security and business continuity requirements are met for each solution.
- Supports organizational change management activities.
What you will bring to the role:
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365 and/or AX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Point of Sale (POS) systems is a must.
- Previous background in a business analysis and/or a functional consulting role, providing a deep understanding of supply chain and operations, finance, retail, and sales business processes, preferably in a luxury or retail industry setting.
- Strong understanding of systems integrations and architecture, and EDI.
- Knowledge of SDLC, and release management processes.
- Exposure to working on large projects involving multiple teams, complex integrations, and dependencies to other projects in a multinational organization setting, with full knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies is expected.
- Previous experience working with offshore teams and managed service providers.
- Experience leading small to medium projects is a huge plus.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or Jira, and PowerBI.
- Knowledge of RPA and Power Platform tools is a nice to have.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and written skills.
- ITIL awareness.
- Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP), Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe), and Product Management (CSPO, SAFe POPM) are nice to haves.
