PAY:
Starting at $22.78/Hour. Upon successful completion of probationary period, pay rate increases to $22.99
CORE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own your safety & the safety of others around you – proactive hazard observation/reporting in the Blending department and first aid reporting
- Operate Cleaning in Place systems to clean tanks, equipment and hoses
- Environmental cleaning and 5S ownership and optimization
- Raw materials intake and management including:
- Offloading and dilution of bulk alcohol and sugar deliveries
- Movement of palletized raw materials by Forklift Truck
- Shared ownership of raw materials inventory and counting
- Accurate staging of raw materials for product batching to supplied recipe
- RTD and canned cocktail product batching including:
- Cross-departmental communication to check production schedule
- Operation of blending equipment in accordance with SOPs
- Accurate record keeping and documentation
- Proactive Quality Assurance including:
- Tank clean effectiveness checks
- Coordination with Quality team on blend tank Quality checks
- Measurement of Oxygen and CO2 levels of product in tank
- Basic troubleshooting using Reaction Plan for out of spec batches
- Reporting of any equipment and plant issues to Maintenance Team using Work Order ticket system
- Root Cause investigation of out of spec product and other issues using 5 Why tools
- Organization and recycling of used materials containers
- Other duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- 1+ years related manufacturing/production experience
- Forklift certification considered an asset
- Advanced organizational skills in planning, project, and time management
- Computer and systems literate skills
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and effective decision-making skills
- Mechanical aptitude & troubleshooting a plus
