Personal Support Worker (PSW)

This position is for our Extendicare Timmins Home, located in Timmins, Ontario.

Available opportunities include: Temporary Full Time

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist residents with mobility, feeding, bathing, toileting and personal grooming
• Encourage resident participation in activities and programs
• Provide emotional and social support to residents and families
• Support the assessment and implementation of interventions for behavioural residents.
• Working with residents who are on the Behavioural support program and implementing strategies to help minimize behaviours
  
  

What You Bring

• PSW certification
• Able to perform physical tasks and duties, including frequent bending, reaching and lifting
• Compassion, professionalism, and respect
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
