Title: Wellness Systems Quality Care Coordinator
Salary: $72,841 – $91,051 – $100,156 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Prince George, B.C., located on the ancestral territories of the Lheidli T'enneh Nations – Onsite
About The Role
As the Wellness Systems Quality Care Coordinator, you will provide culturally safe support to self-identifying First Nations individuals on their journey to quality care, rooted in their unique stories and experiences. Working with communities, clients, and health care providers across various health systems and services, you will coordinate feedback and concerns with cultural sensitivity, aligning with FNHA’s approach to patient-centered care. You’ll document and elevate stories requiring attention, ensuring transparent, accountable resolutions, while connecting individuals with resources that promote healing and improve care experiences.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have/be –
Education & Experience
- University degree in social sciences, health, or a related profession
- 5-7 years of recent, relevant and significant experience working with First Nations organizations, communities, multifaceted health or social/human service organizations, ideally in the Region
- Experience in handling and navigating First Nations patient/family interactions in a culturally safe and humble manner, including respect, compassion and empathy
- Training in patient safety investigation methods, cultural safety, trauma-informed care, and quality improvement are assets
- Knowledge of First Nations communities, ideally within the Region
- Knowledge of social justice issues, and the impact of social determinants on health
