Elementary Teacher - Grade 2 French Immersion

Qualifications Required: Primary, French Immersion

Schedule: Day 1, 4 and 5 8:40 10:20 Day 2 8:40 - 11:30 Day 3 8:40 - 11:50

• The Elementary Teachers' Collective Agreement. Current members of the Elementary Teachers’ Bargaining Unit who currently hold positions of less than 1.0 FTE are eligible to apply.
• The Letter of Understanding allowing teachers to stay in LTO assignments after accepting a permanent assignment.

This posting is closed to teachers who:

• Currently hold a permanent 1.0 FTE position
• Have successfully obtained a new position through the One-for-One Teacher Transfer Process (Teacher Trades)
• After August 15th part-time teachers will only be permitted to apply to teaching position(s) of 1.0 FTE or additional part-time positions which can be accommodated with their existing position to increase their total FTE.

Note for FRENCH positions: Effective August 15, 2013, teachers who are the successful candidate to a permanent position requiring French as a Second Language (FSL) will be assigned, through the staffing process, the FSL FTE to which they were initially hired, for a minimum of five (5) years.
