Job Description
The Regulatory Strategy, Communications & Training team provides a range of services to support and counsel the Regulatory, Audit and Compliance Assurance group and various stakeholders and partners across the Enterprise. The team performs tasks ranging from crafting timely and relevant communications, supporting enterprise programs, working with internal and external stakeholder groups, technology and business partners to provide best-in-class deliverables. Main Responsibilities
Understand key business partners' objectives, direction and ongoing initiatives and advise the leadership teams on appropriate communication strategies and tactics.
Develop/manage the execution of internal/external strategic and tactical communications on behalf of senior management, ensuring the improvement of TD's presence with key partners, highlighting TD's brand, community, and innovation initiatives.
Handle ongoing relationships with key shareholders and/or third parties to coordinate all internal/external communication activities and project deliverables.
Handle communications projects/programs/initiatives of low to moderate scope and complexity that require in-depth knowledge in own domain and working knowledge of broader related areas.
Integrate the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within own area.
Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and collaboration, and ensure timely communication of issues/points of interest.
Keep current on emerging trends/developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques.
Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required.
Over 3 years of relevant work experience required.
Proficient knowledge of multiple communications disciplines, media channels, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and customers supported.
Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations.
Sound understanding of problem-solving techniques, effective questioning, and conflict resolution.
Hands-on knowledge of using Adobe software and MS Office Suite, SharePoint.
Strong written and verbal communications skills to interact with all levels of staff and convey business context clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment.
An analytical mind with orientation to detail and strong judgment skills to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
