About Truss Payments:

Truss Payments is a YC-backed, fast-growing fintech startup revolutionizing financial operations for construction businesses. As an all-in-one banking and payment automation platform, we empower construction companies to streamline bill payments, manage receivables, and automate workflows. By integrating with existing tools, Truss helps businesses save time and eliminate manual data entry, simplifying the full billing cycle—from invoicing to reconciliation.

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated founder associate to join our growing team. This role is perfect for future entrepreneurs who want to help contribute to a startup that has already found product market fit, raised millions from institutional VCs, and is starting to mature its processes for scale.

This role will work on special projects directly with the founding team and be responsible for various aspects of sales, marketing operations, financial planning, and custom workflow integrations (low or no-code tooling).

You must be organized, a self-starter, hungry to analyze data and take action without direction. Turning manual processing into automated ones must be fun for you. You will also need to be comfortable with grinding out some tasks and then automating them later as you learn the ins and outs.

This role is open to candidates who can work remotely in Canada or in person in San Francisco.

A day on the job:

  • A typical workday is from 8 am to 6 pm.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects to assist the founders.
  • Support the planning and execution of company conferences and events.
  • Attend conferences to represent the company and gather industry insights.
  • Learn our social media, improve on it, and automate it while tracking metrics and insights.
  • Work on pitch decks and board presentations.
  • Use tools like Clay.com and Zapier to automation data flows to assist our growing team.

Who You Are:

  • A future entrepreneur
  • Not scared of technical tasks like Zapier implementations.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Someone eager to learn and grow!

What We Offer:

  • Competitive cash compensation + equity package
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Health Coverage
  • Computer and workspace enhancements

At Truss, we’re not just building a product—we’re building a team and culture we’re proud of. If you’re ready to impact the fintech space, apply today!
