Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Handler to join our team at our Saskatoon location.
What You Will Do:
- Uphold and embody FGI Customer Service Standards and Core Values with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
- Champion FGI's safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practices
- Verify parts to ensure they are correct before assembling customer orders
- Assist in stocking and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas
- Re-stock shelves and move parts
- Assist customers when looking for parts
- May assist with shipping and receiving
- May assist with loading vehicles
- Other duties as assigned
- MUST HAVE 1 year of general warehouse experience or order picker experience using an RF Scanner or barcode gun.
- MUST BE ABLE to meet the physical requirements: Lift up to 75-100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers.
- High school diploma, GED or other high school equivalence certificate
- Excellent customer service skills – dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customers
- Strong written and verbal skills – ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues
- Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, word, excel) and ability to learn in-house systems
- Heavy duty parts knowledge or background an asset
- Valid class 5/G license with 3 years of Canadian driving experience an asset
