Change Manager

Our Client is seeking a Business Consultant with organizational change management experience to work on a Financial Solution implementation. The focus of this project will be on the replacement of existing functionality through implementing the new system, with the intent of minimizing change to internal and external stakeholder systems or processes and to reduce complexity and risk. It also intends to deliver an initial instance of a core banking data repository. Working approximately 25 to 35 hours per week, the Business Analyst will be either accountable, responsible, or both, for performing tasks and providing oversite throughout Phases 2-3 of this project.

While this role is mostly remote, quarterly visits to Victoria are required (at expense of contractor). Must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills

• Minimum 5 years recent IM/IT business analysis experience related to the delivery of large, complex, or transformational projects.

• Minimum 5 years recent experience in each of: business analysis work planning, change management and communication activities.

• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology or communications related field and appropriate accreditation or formal training in business analysis, and demonstrated ongoing learning activities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated experience communicating effectively to a broad range of stakeholders.

Nice To Have Skills

• Proponents should visibly demonstrate experience working in a public sector (i.e., core federal or provincial government, crown corporations or agencies) environment.
