As a Project Manager - Employee Experience and Digital Workspace within Pomerleau's Communications team, you will play a crucial role in developing the strategy, implementing, and continuously managing Pomerleau's digital platform. The digital workspace is an essential tool for facilitating effective communication, promoting employee engagement, and creating a seamless work experience for our team members across various locations, including the office and construction sites. Your expertise in digital workspace governance, content management, and user experience will be vital to ensuring the platform's success and its ability to add value to our employees' daily lives.

What You Will Do

  • Implementation of the Digital Workspace: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including IT and communications, to design and execute a comprehensive intranet implementation strategy. This involves understanding the organization's needs, developing user profiles (or personas), and planning the architecture and features of the digital workspace.
  • Governance and Maintenance: Establish and enforce digital workspace governance policies, ensuring adherence to best practices. Monitor and maintain the platform to guarantee optimal performance, troubleshoot issues, and integrate new tools.
  • Content Management: Oversee the organization and updating of digital workspace content, including news, announcements, resources, and documents. Develop a content calendar to ensure timely information dissemination and collaborate with various departments to create relevant and engaging content.
  • User Experience Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance the user experience of the digital workspace by gathering employee feedback, analyzing usage patterns, and making improvements. Explore opportunities to enhance features and usability to effectively meet employees' needs and preferences.
  • Training and Support: Organize training sessions and workshops for super users and employees to familiarize them with the intranet's features and functionalities. Provide ongoing support and assistance to users, promptly addressing their inquiries and technical challenges.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track digital workspace usage, engagement, and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports on platform performance and present findings to the management team for insights and decision-making.
  • Collaboration Initiatives: Work with the communications team and other stakeholders to align the digital workspace with broader internal communication initiatives, campaigns, and events. Ensure the platform serves as an information hub and fosters a sense of community among employees.

This role could be for you if you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing a digital workspace
  • Familiarity with governance, content management, and best practices in user experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset and experience using data to make decisions and measure success.
  • Proactive, innovative, and resourceful, with a passion for improving employee experience.
  • Proficiency in content management systems and collaboration tools.
  • Change management skills (an asset).
  • UX/UI skills (an asset).
  • Bilingual.
