The Position: The Contracts Coordinator is responsible for ensuring contract preparations are professionally responded to in a timely, accurate and complete manner. The position works with all departments to maximize potential to acquire and maintain business while optimizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Preparations
- Ensure contracts are maintained in an efficient and effective manner to support the Company strategy.
- Provide initial evaluation and review for drafting of contracts and renewals.
- Ensure adherence to Corporate Signing Policy.
- Create financial analysis, ensure accuracy to illustrate a snapshot of the current contract state, request proposed pricing and obtain approvals.
- Ensure contracts are accurate and professionally responded to in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of pricing strategies, approvals, and other significant details.
- Provide administrative support for the documentation required to finalize agreements.
- Manage the administration and workflow of incoming requests for contracts.
- Ensure application of best practices in process development and contract management.
- Support cross functional teams with contract life cycle management.
- Ensure cooperation on special projects as required.
- Ensure communication is effective and informative regarding issues which may affect the quality of service or products.
- Respond clearly, directly, and in a timely manner to what others communicate.
- Ensure regular communication and collaboration with internal teams for consistency in practices.
- Diploma in Business Administration and/or Supply Chain Management.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in a related field.
- Experience in a healthcare and/or supply chain environment would be an asset.
- Solid MS Office Software experience and ability to work with Excel at the intermediate level.
- Experience with contract administration and/or public procurement methodologies is considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and follow-up.
- Experience working with an ERP system is an asset.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Fluent in French both written and oral would be an asset.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work is essential.
- Ability to work long periods of concentration.
- Demonstrated mathematical and analytical aptitude.
- Office setting.
- Frequent interruptions.
- Compensation based on a regular work week of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) working hours, with additional working hours as required to meet ongoing business demands and to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Overtime eligible.
