At our Edmonton office, we are actively looking for a skilled and driven Estimator. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing our estimating tools and processes, with a focus on efficiency. Key responsibilities include estimating the construction and installation of medium-to-large signage projects, as well as occasional client meetings. We are eager to welcome a motivated and experienced Estimator to our team.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Organizing and submitting estimates in a timely manner.
  • Tracking all bids and following up with contractors and clients regarding projects.
  • Acting as a liaison between the Production Manager and Install Technicians to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Completing other assigned responsibilities as needed.
  • Prioritizing and categorizing incoming estimates based on budget and urgency

Qualifications And Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry as an estimator.
  • Sound knowledge of material sourcing and design standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels, including project stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deliverables on an ongoing basis.
