What You Will Do:

As a Corporate Development Manager, you will be a key architect of our growth strategy. Your mission will be to identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and manage acquisitions and investments. You will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts, ensuring that every opportunity aligns with our strategic goals and financial objectives. In this hands-on position, your key responsibilities will entail:

  • Identify and prioritize expansion areas and new markets for the regulated and non-regulated businesses of GrandBridge Corporation.
  • Support the origination of new investment and partnership opportunities.
  • Assess the strategic fit, financial viability, and regulatory considerations of potential opportunities.
  • Conduct financial modeling and risk analysis.
  • Provide hands-on support throughout the M&A process, from initial contact to integration by working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new opportunities seamlessly into our business.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments and emerging technologies to inform the company’s strategic decisions.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to the leadership team on the progress and outcomes of corporate development activities.

What You Will Bring:

  • MBA or University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years in corporate development, M&A, investments, or strategic planning.
  • Experience in managing due diligence processes.
  • Prior experience in the Power & Utilities sectors preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a passion for growth and the energy transition.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office suites, data management and reporting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
